Koh Hong is the favorite tourist destination for both Thai and foreigners. Than Bok Khorani National Park Ranger Unit is located on the island. The area of the two white powdery beaches. The front beach of the island is the location of thepier which is not appropriate for swimming while the other side is fine for scuba diving.
The sea depth is about 10 30 feet with many groups of fish. There is the curved bay at the north of the island. The inner area is of beaches and mangrove forests surrounded by limestone mountains making the island look like the room shape which is the source of the name Koh Hong or Room Island where kayaks can get through the inner part. During low tide, you can walk comfortably at this area where a lot of starfish is found.
Another island nestled near Koh Hong is Koh Pak Bia of good swimming area and beautiful sandy beach, Koh Lao La Ding of wonderful beach and coral reefs etc.
